Health & Safety policies are assessed by Exor to ensure they are  suitable and sufficient for size of the company, plus the activities they undertake. A full policy manual is required in order for an assessment to be completed and comprises of - the Policy Statement and sections covering organisation, arrangements and procedures. Details of the assessment criteria applied to each of these areas can be supplied on request.

The benefits of being qualified by Exor are:

  • Independent proof of process and procedures are correctly documented and utilised

  • Creation of business opportunities in both the public and private sector

  • Reduction in insurance premiums and support materials (certificates / logo) to promote the proven standing of your business

Exor provide our buyers with an Health & Safety assessment and reporting service. This service is available to existing and new clients whether Central or Local Government, Housing Associations, Private and Public commercial organisations. This system provides desktop access to suppliers that are able to show that they are qualified through inspection.

Exor now offer a separate Health & Safety service.  This standard is a desk based assessment that meets the stage 1 of the Core Criteria established in the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) for the Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations 2007.  This standard complies with the obligations of our founder membership of the Safety Schemes in procurement  (SSIP) that is designed to facilitate mutual recognition between health and safety pre-qualification and minimise duplication in the procurement process.

Furthermore, the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) recognises that an accreditation assessment carried out by any of the member schemes within the SSIP satisfies the requirements of the Core Criteria. ‘Any client wishing to procure the services of a business which has achieved accreditation can be confident that a reasonable and robust judgement has been made that the standard for competency in CDM 2007 have been met, for the first stage of procurement.’ Source: www.ssip.org.uk
