exor has moved to annual assessments

Date: 2nd July 2012

Effective from 1st June 2012, exor now requires all registered members to undertake their assessments on an annual basis.

A detailed annual assessment is the only effective method of determining compliance, and continued compliance. As such, exor GSB Risk Management Standards will change from a biennial assessment cycle to an annual assessment cycle.

What does this mean for our customers?

exor will continue to recognise all current exor accreditations for the entire length of their original accreditation period. When your exor accreditation is due for renewal, you will be required to be reassessed for the following elements of the Risk Management Standards on an annual basis:

  • Financial Stability and Viability of Business
  • Corporate Governance
  • Director History
  • Insurances & Registrations
  • Health and Safety
  • Equal Opportunities and Diversity – as applicable
  • Environmental Management – as applicable

SSiP Mutual Recognition

The majority of SSiP members have signed “mutual recognition” agreements, which mean that as far as health and safety is concerned, if you have been successfully accredited by one SSIP member, it will be recognised by the others. You will not have to complete any additional questionnaires if you want to work for a client who understands the value of SSiP and the processes involved.

exor health and safety qualified certificates will be recognised until the stated expiry date. Should you experience difficulties using your exor health and safety qualified certificate for SSiP passport purposes, please contact us on our helpline number 02920 029667.
